Roanoke/Cashie River Center
Explore local cultures of Windsor and how its unique history shaped the town. We feature hands-on interactive displays of artifacts from life in historic Windsor and Salmon Creek Natural Area. Come and enjoy our scenic river walk and amphitheater along the quiet Cashie River. We also have a working honey bee hive, black water aquarium, turtle tank, and local ecosystem displays. From May through October, we host our River Rambling boat tours on Saturdays at 10:30am.

Early each year, RCRC announces their STEM Field Trip Grant application available to Bertie public school teachers to take their students on STEM oriented field trips in NC.
