Teen Science Cafe

Join members of the Plankton Ecology Lab for an exciting night of science, discovery, and hands-on fun! Teens will explore the fascinating world of plankton, algae, and water quality while learning about real research happening along our coast. Spend the evening out on the Estuarium’s back deck and along the Pamlico River as you participate in interactive activities and connect with young scientists working in the field. Presenters will also share their personal journeys into marine science and what it’s like to work in research today. Free food included!
